TRITO Driver Adaptive HMI System: Adapting HMI Behavior Based on the Driver’s State

The driver-adaptive HMI recognizes the driving conditions of the driver and performs trend analysis based on the driving information from CAN system and the human body information captured with sensing technology. Using the analyzed data, HMI adapts itself to an appropriate behavior according to the conditions of the driver.

Example 1: Notify the spot where the driver feels difficult to drive
The driver-adaptive HMI recognizes the driving conditions and performs trend analysis of the driver based on the driving information from CAN system and the human body information captured with sensing technology. Using the analyzed data, HMI adapts itself to an appropriate behavior according to the conditions of the driver.

Example 2: Suggest the spot to use driving assist function such as ACC
In accordance with the spot where the driver feels difficult to drive or the traffic conditions which the driver tends to be overconfident of, it helps the driver to determine when and how to use the driving assist function such as ACC.
