Exhibited at “Automotive Engineering Exposition 2022 YOKOHAMA”

sdtech showcased a demo in the booth of DTS INSIGHT at the "Automotive Engineering Exposition 2022 YOKOHAMA", which held at PACIFICO Yokohama from May 25 to 27, 2022.
The demo was our product “TRITO VR”, which could experience and evaluate the human machine interface using virtual reality (VR) technology.
TRITO VR can allow the user interface created by the client to be freely placed on the virtual cockpit. In addition, the surrounding environment and vehicle type can be changed to, for example, daytime or nighttime and convertible car, etc.
3D models of the running vehicle and the external environment can be placed in VR space to enable to design and evaluate the UI/UX of the cockpit
By showing the meter and center display created by PC in the VR space, the user can check and operate as if in-vehicle environment.
This enables verification of the experience (UX).
Thanks to many visitors experienced TRITO VR demo at this exhibition, we could receive a lot of feedback. The following feedback can be realized by enhancing TRITO VR.
・Want to verify the steering switch
・Want to verify the sound effect
・Want to verify the context of the external environment, etc.
・Want to verify by connecting to CAN data.
・Want to verify while acquiring biometric devices.
We will also have a demonstration of TRITO VR at “Automotive engineering Exposition 2022 Nagoya”, which will be held at Port Messe Nagoya from Jun29 to July1, 2022.
